Cedarville University FacStaff Family & Friends Camp

Old Mill Point June 15-21, 2024

The Cedarville University FacStaff Family and Friends Camp is designed for the faculty and staff of Cedarville University to be refreshed and renewed physically, spiritually, and relationally. Come away to a place where you can find rest with your family, where spiritual values are nurtured, and where lifelong memories begin.

The Cedarville University FacStaff Family and Friends Camp will run from Saturday to Friday and feature an engaging Biblical teacher and many opportunities for rest and building relationships.

 

Guest Speaker: Dr. Matthew McLain

Dr. Matthew McLain is the Interim Dean of the School of Science and the Associate Professor of Biology and Geology at The Masters University. Matthew first attended Cedarville University, where he received his B.S. in geology. He then moved to Southern California to pursue his Ph.D. in earth sciences from Loma Linda University. He is a member of the Geological Society of America and the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology.

His research interests include vertebrate paleontology, specifically projects involving dinosaurs and pterosaurs, and he has authored and co-authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals. He and his wife Jessica have four children, Alaric, Cody, Iris, and Soren.

Here's What a Day Will Look Like

  • Mornings: Breakfast followed by a worship service and devotional time
  • Afternoons: Lunch, free time activities, and waterfront open
  • Evenings: Dinner followed by a group activity and fellowship time

Your stay will include 6 full days of meals, along with waterfront access, and all in-camp activities and programming.

  • Sail and Kayak Prentiss Bay (a class will be provided for beginners)
  • Hike and Rest alongside our Lakeshore and Nature Trails
  • Enjoy Quiet Fellowship with an Evening Campfire on the Beach

Available activities include Basketball, Volleyball, Ping-Pong, Foosball, Ultimate Frisbee, Carpetball, Board Games, and Saunas provided in the afternoons and evenings!

Housing Options

Willoughby Lodge Rooms: $600 - Private guest room - sleeps 4-8 with queen bed and bunks. Nearby community bathrooms and private showers.

Point Cabin: $600 - Private cabin - sleeps 6-8 with queen bed and bunks. Nearby community bathhouse and private showers.

Cabin Guest Rooms: $800 - Private guest room with private bathroom - sleeps 4 with queen bed and bunks, with shared kitchenette and leisure area.

Family Cabins: $1,200 - Private cabin with private bathroom - sleeps 4-10 with queen bed and bunks. Private kitchen and leisure area with woodstove.

Tent/RV Sites: $270 - Electrical Hookup, no water or sewer. Nearby community bathroom/showers.

Programming Fees - Includes Programs & Meals

  • Adult (19 & older) - $270/person
  • Child (6-18 years old) - $219/person
  • Child (0-5 years old) – $0/person

*Sales tax is included in all fees.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

100% of deposit refund up to April 30th.

Deposit will be non-refundable after April 30th.
