Guest Speaker: Army Chaplain (MAJ) Brian Hargis

Brian enlisted as a paratrooper in 1991, stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, and deployed to Egypt. In 1997, he graduated Special Forces and served as a Green Beret in the USARNG. As a civilian, he was an honor graduate of the Dayton Police Academy (Ohio) and served as an officer.

In 2002, Brian deployed to Hungary, Kuwait, and Kosovo. During deployment, he answered the Lord's call to preach. Upon return in 2003, he was ordained and entered full-time ministry. Simultaneously, he became an infantry Drill Sergeant in the USAR and was the honor graduate. Brian returned to SF in 2005 and trained Soldiers to become Green Berets, many of whom are serving in Special Operations today.

Brian commissioned as a Chaplain and entered active duty in 2009 and has been full-throttle bringing God to soldiers and Soldiers to God. His passions are preaching, equipping marriages with tools to excel, and inspiring others to identify their strengths and live their passions for the Lord.

Brian is a Doctor of Theology, author of "Marriage is a Four-Letter Word", and an outdoor adventurist.
