Mariners’ Cove July 15 - 21, 2023
Pastor Oasis is a week-long family camp and pastors' retreat that provides pastors and their families a time to decompress from ministry and reconnect as a family, as couples, or as an individual. This week is structured to provide personal devotional time, family recreation, and time alone as a couple. In addition, our general sessions are designed to intellectually and spiritually engage the heart, the mind, and the soul in worship of our amazing God.
Dr. Harry Shields has served Christ and His Church as a pastor of three churches, as well as a professor in theological higher education. He has served pastorates in Illinois, Colorado, and Wisconsin. In 1985, he joined the faculty of the Moody Bible Institute as both a professor and adjunct professor in the area of pastoral studies. He served the MBI faculty in a variety of roles until his retirement in 2020.
In addition, Dr. Shields has authored or co-authored several books, including Caring For Souls and The Practice of Spiritual Formation. He is also a contributing author for the Moody Bible Commentary (1 & 2 Kings). Dr. Shields lives with his wife, Denise, in Carol Stream, Illinois.

Taylor Lodge Rooms - $475/room
Private guest room - sleeps 4-6, queen bed with bunks. Nearby community bathroom and private showers.
Cabin Guest Rooms - $675/room
Private guest room with private bathroom - sleeps 4-6, queen bed with bunks. Shared kitchen and leisure area with other guests
