Situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron’s Prentiss Bay, Cedar Bay Camp and Retreat Center offers ten summer family camps – five at our Old Mill Point site and five, across the bay, at our Mariner’s Cove site. Summer Camps at Cedar Bay have been a much-appreciated retreat for families, couples and single adults from around the country for over 30 years.
are designed to provide opportunities for families to be refreshed physically, spiritually, and relationally. Our mission-minded staff use hospitality, freedom from distractions, and purposeful programming to help guests come away, meet God, and be renewed by His Spirit and His Word.
Each week of Family Camp runs from Saturday to Friday and features an engaging Biblical teacher, structured worship experiences, creative children’s programming, unprogrammed time for rest and building relationships, unique recreation opportunities and more.

Developed trails, throughout Cedar Bay’s 500+ acres, will make exploring God’s creation accessible for families throughout their stay. Guest Speaker: Cameron Anderson
Cameron Anderson is the Associate Director of Upper House, a center for Christian study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 2009 to 2018, Cameron was the Executive Director of CIVA-Christians in the Visual Arts. Prior to that, he served for 30 years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship – including an eight-year term as the National Director of InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries.

Luman Strong has been in education for almost 25 years. For the bulk of this time, he has served in the public-school setting as an elementary teacher, middle school teacher, and high school counselor and in his current role as administrator. For two of his years, he served in a Christian school in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to his role in public education, Luman serves as an instructor with Spring Arbor University (MI) for thesis classes for current teachers.

Matt is a graduate of Biola University with a masters in philosophy. From 1998 until 2013 Matt served on staff with Cru Global. In 2018 he transitioned to Cleveland, OH where he is currently serving as the senior pastor at Living Hope Church. Matt also serves as an adjunct professor at Grace College and Indiana Wesleyan University.

Jon Kehrer is Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Languages at Ozark Christian College. Jon and his wife April have ministered in various capacities over the last 20 years. They spent the last four years living and working in the Arab Gulf. Jon has a particular interest in connecting the Word of God in practical ways to the church today.

Kent is a therapist at All Things Possible Wellness Center. He graduated with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary. Ken brings many years of experience as the founder and president of Adult Children of Divorce Ministries, a ministry which expresses his passion for bringing the healing power of Jesus Christ and God’s word to those in need. He is also a Christian author and teacher.
