What is Crew Discipleship Ministry?

If you want to experience God in a significant way, consider joining us this summer!

Our Summer Crew Discipleship Program is an 11-week ministry opportunity for young adults, ages 18-25, to serve our guest families alongside our camp staff, and invest in their journey of faith. We desire to nurture and mentor those who have a heart to serve one another in community and learn and grow in their calling to serve Jesus Christ.

Crew can earn up to $3000 by the end of the summer! ($275 per week)

If you have questions, email our Staffing Coordinator, Danielle Brinkmeier ([email protected]), or call our office at 906-484-2294.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE SUMMER

Crew Training - May 30-June 12, 2026

To prepare all crew for their summer responsibilities, Cedar will conduct an extensive training program as soon as you arrive at camp: introducing you to the staff community, equipping you with the skills needed for your position, and teaching you about living and serving with the attitude of Christ.

Family Camp Ministries

Our summer ministry primarily consists of family camps. Campers arrive on Saturday afternoon and depart on Friday morning. At Cedar Bay, we have two camp facilities that exist on both sides of Prentiss Bay - Mariners Cove and Old Mill Point. We continuously operate two separate family camps simultaneously throughout the summer. Along with serving in a department, there will be many opportunities for you to engage with guests and participate in the programming.
