Food Service Specialist
Job Location: Cedar Bay - Cedarville, Michigan
This position will assist the Food Service Director in preparing and serving meals to guests.
Program Specialist
Job Location: Cedar Bay - Cedarville, Michigan
This position will work with the Program Team to plan and execute the Family Camp programming.
Maintenance Generalist
Job Location: Cedar Bay - Cedarville, Michigan
This position is part of the Maintenance Team and must be willing and ready to serve in any maintenance role or duties as needed. This person will work in all areas of maintenance and would be good to have an idea or general building/construction maintenance, landscaping and grounds maintenance, along with vehicle/engine repair.
Building Maintenance Specialist
Job Location: Cedar Bay - Cedarville, Michigan
This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the buildings at Cedar Bay. Experience in construction or building maintenance is needed to fulfill this role. This person should be able to work with and provide directions to volunteers and unskilled labor to help accomplish tasks needed. This person is part of the maintenance team and must be willing to serve the team in any maintenance role as needed.
Graphic Designer
Job Location: Forest Springs - Westboro, Wisconsin
This position involves joining a team of creatives - including designers, content creators, and visual artists. Responsibilities include designing graphics for in-house communications, social media, YouTube, print promotional pieces, and other platforms to support our events.
Head Cook
Job Location: Wood Lake - Grantsburg, Wisconsin
This position will assist the Food Service Director in preparing and serving meals to guests.
Accommodations Manager
Job Location: Oak Forest - Frederic, Wisconsin
This position oversees the cleanliness of the facilities with a spirit of excellence. This person will also disciple young people spiritually and develop their work ethic.
Guest Services Director
Job Location: Oak Forest - Frederic, Wisconsin
This position involves helping host and care for retreat groups while managing details like communication, room coordination, and guest services. Being an organized, guest-focused team member with a servant's heart is needed for the position. This ministry role also models Christ to guests and staff, helping create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where people feel cared for and supported.
Sous Chef
Job Location: Oak Forest - Frederic, Wisconsin
This position involves the day-to-day food prep for guests.
About Employment at Forest Springs Ministries
The core group of our long-term staff are referred to as missionary staff. We consider ourselves a "home mission" and require that our long-term, full-time staff raise their own financial support to serve at Forest Springs Ministries sites.
However, we do not expect brand new staff to raise their own financial support when they first start; instead, to help explore the possibility of whether or not camp is a “good fit” for them, we offer short-term salaried contracts to a potential staff member, while we mutually evaluate the possibility of a long-term staff relationship.
Contract staff members commit to a one-year contract at a Forest Springs Ministries site, where they receive a salary, healthcare, on-site housing, and other benefits.
