Whether you're starting your first job, exploring your next steps, or seeking to deepen your faith, this retreat is designed just for you. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, engage in meaningful conversations, and build lasting friendships with new friends. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to relax, reflect, and connect!

Your Speakers

Speakers: Howard Lawler & Jonathan Lawler

Howard and his son Jonathan founded Salpizo Publications in the spring of 2020 to provide materials that focus on church health and cultural engagement. The imprint helps church members (especially leaders) address challenging issues in a biblically faithful way. The Greek word “salpizo” means “to sound the trumpet.” Rev. Howard Lawler holds a master’s degree in theological studies from Wheaton Graduate School. With 38 years of pastoral experience, including serving as senior pastor at four churches, he is deeply knowledgeable about culture and its influence on the church. Rev. Lawler is dedicated to helping young professionals connect with the church, fostering meaningful relationships and spiritual growth. Jonathan Lawler is a historian and archivist. He holds a master’s degree in archives and public history from New York University, a master’s degree in ministry from Northwest University, and a master's degree in theology, ethics, and culture from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
