Homeschool Family Camp 1

Old Mill Point July 11-17, 2026

A Christ-Centered Family Experience

Homeschool Family Camp is a week-long, Christ-centered camp experience designed to serve and strengthen homeschooling families. This unique week gives families space to step away from the pace of everyday life and enter a rhythm of rest, renewal, and spiritual focus, where faith, learning, and family life are woven together.

Through Biblically grounded teaching, worship, and hands-on learning, families are encouraged to see the Christian home as God’s primary place for discipleship and growth.

Guest Speaker - Lloyd Hamm

Lloyd Hamm lives in Central Florida with his wife, Alexa, and 8 of their 13 children. Lloyd has served as a teaching elder for the past 20 years, currently at Covenant Bible Church in Plant City, Florida. He serves bi‑vocationally, having worked in information technology for the past 35 years. Lloyd and Alexa also operate the Garden Gate Bed and Breakfast on their property in Homeland, FL. They have homeschooled all of their children throughout their parenting journey. Though relatively new to Cedar Bay, the Hamms have grown to love this place, having spent a week as volunteers each summer for the past five years. Five of their children have also served on staff or summer crew at Cedar Bay.

What Families Can Expect

For the parents

Parents get to hear from speaker-led Bible teaching in the mornings, followed by constructive workshops in the afternoons. You come away with meaningful connections with other homeschooling families, and practical tools to strengthen faith and learning at home

For the kids

Age-appropriate Bible classes are offered in the mornings led by our program team, alongside outdoor educational adventures, and interactive group experiences.

For the whole family
