Guest Speaker: Spencer Fusselman
Dr. Spencer R. Fusselman has dedicated his life to forging the "holistic warrior," blending rigorous military standards, elite martial arts mastery, and unwavering biblical discipleship.
His military career began in 2010 as an enlisted Infantryman, with assignments as the Lead Guard for the Continental Color Guard (The Old Guard), a RECON Assistant Team Leader for the 1st BN, 14th Infantry Regiment in Hawaii, and a Heavy Weapons Section Leader. In 2017, he commissioned into the Chaplain Corps, transitioning his focus to the spiritual resilience of the force until his separation. Dr. Fusselman drew upon his Army Combatives training and over 27 years of martial arts experience to found Shinja Kenpo Karate and the Iron Lotus Martial Arts Association. As a 7th-degree black belt (Shihan) and three-time Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee, he developed a revolutionary martial arts system rooted in biomechanics to train the mind as intensely as the body.
Currently serving as the Assistant Pastor at Christian Fellowship Church in Los Lunas, New Mexico, Dr. Fusselman’s passion is raising up the next generation of Christian warriors, by utilizing the framework of military discipline and martial arts to teach profound biblical discipleship, empowering believers to be spiritually grounded, mentally sharp, and physically prepared to answer their calling.
