Guest Speaker: Former Marine - Jeremy Stalnecker
Jeremy Stalnecker is the CEO of the Mighty Oaks Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting America’s military warriors and their families as they navigate the challenges of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the unseen wounds of combat.
Jeremy’s journey began with a dream of joining the Marine Corps, which he realized in 1999. As an infantry officer, he served with distinction during Operation Iraqi Freedom, leading his platoon through pivotal operations, including securing Baghdad and the presidential palace. These experiences honed his leadership skills and shaped his perspective on service and sacrifice. After his military career, Jeremy transitioned to ministry, serving as an Assistant Pastor at Coastline Baptist Church near Camp Pendleton, where he counseled and mentored Marines and their families.
In 2008, he became Senior Pastor at Bay Area Baptist Church, where he continued ministering to families and individuals. In 2015, Jeremy joined the Mighty Oaks Foundation, combining his military and ministry experience to provide practical support and Christ-centered healing for veterans and their families. Together with his wife, Susanne, and their four children, Jeremy continues to actively serve by leading programs, mentoring, and sharing tools for recovery and resilience.
OBC is underwritten by generous business and personal donations and is offered at no charge to military families.
