HOUSING OPTIONS AT CEDAR
We offer several different housing options at Cedar Bay. Our location is split into two main sections - Old Mill Point and Mariners' Cove. Each side of camp offers similar types of facilities, with subtle distinctions that make them unique to their side of camp.

TYPES OF HOUSING
Lodge Rooms
Both Mariners’ Cove and Old Mill Point offer dorms-style Lodge Rooms. Mariners' Cove has fourteen rooms, located above the Taylor Lodge Dining Hall. Old Mill Point offers 10 rooms, located in Willoughby Lodge Dining Hall
Features include:
- Queen bed with bunk beds
- Bathroom/showers located down the hall
- Towels, linens and bedding provided
Cabins (also known as Family Cabins or Point Cabins)
Old Mill Point offers 9 private Family Cabins, along with 10 Point Cabins, each with a picturesque view of Lake Huron or Prentiss Bay! Mariners’ Cove offers a private Family Cabin, known as Forbrich.
The Family Cabins features:
- private bathroom
- Fully-furnished kitchen and living room with fireplace
- Refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker and microwave
- Towels, linens and bedding provided
Point cabins are private, single-room cabins, which feature a queen bed, along with two bunk beds. For you convenience, a modern bathroom/shower house is located nearby.
Guest Rooms
A Guest Room is a single private room with a private bathroom. Mariners’ Cove offers 10 Guest Rooms in total, divided amongst 3 cabins. Old Mill Point offers six Guest Rooms, located within two cabins. Guest Rooms share a common kitchen and living room with other guest rooms.
Features include:
- Single private room with private bathroom
- Shared fully-furnished kitchenette
- Shared living room with fireplace
- Refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker and microwave
- Linens and towels are provided
Old Mill Point Housing
These options are available on the Old Mill Point side of Cedar Bay.
Willoughby Lodge Room
The Willoughby Lodge Rooms feature a queen bed with bunk beds that sleeps 4-8 people. Towels, linens, and bedding provided. Shared bathroom and private showers are located just down the hall from each room. Please note: there is no elevator access to the second floor.
Harwood & Beach Guest Room Cabins
These Cabin Guest Rooms- three in each cabin - are single private rooms with a private bathroom, and a shared kitchenette and living room.
Features include: Queen bed and bunk beds (sleeps 4 each) • Shared fully-furnished kitchenette • Shared living room with fireplace • Refrigerator, range, coffee maker and microwave • Linens and towels are provided
Spruceview Family Cabin
2 Bedrooms with Loft (sleeps 9) • Queen Bed • 2 Bunks • 3 Twins • 1 Bathroom • Kitchen & Dining area • Living area with firestove
Shadynook Family Cabin
This family cabin sleeps 10 in three bedrooms: a queen bedroom, two bunks (one with a twin-over-full), and two twins. It features three bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area, and a living room showcasing a wood-burning fireplace.
Deck Family Cabin
2 Bedrooms with Loft (sleeps 6) • Queen Bed • 2 Bunks • 1 Bathroom• Kitchen & Dining area • Living area with firestove
Poplar Bend Family Cabin
This family cabin sleeps 6 in two bedrooms, featuring a queen bed in one and two bunk beds in the other. It also features a kitchen and dining area, a full bath, and a living room with a wood-burning fireplace.
Deer Trail Family Cabin
This family cabin sleeps 8, with two bedrooms, including a loft bedroom with six twin beds. Another bedroom features a queen bed. There is one full bathroom, a kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable living area.
The Point Cabins
These 10 private, single-room cabins are essentially identical in layout, featuring a queen bed, along with two bunk beds. For you convenience, a modern bathroom/shower house is located nearby
Bayview

Mariners Cove Housing
These options are available on the Mariners Cove side of Cedar Bay.
Gloria Taylor Cottage

Southwind
• 2 Guest Rooms (sleeps 6 each) • Queen Bed • 2 Bunks • Private Bathroom/Shower • Living Area/Fireplace • Kitchenette with Fridge/Microwave • Back-porch with Adirondack chairs • Outdoor Fire-pit
Four Anchors Cabin
• 4 Guest Rooms (sleeps 6 each) • Queen Bed • 2 Bunks • Private Bathroom/Shower • Dining Table • Living Area/Fireplace • Kitchen with Dining Table • Back-porch with Adirondack chairs
Taylor Lodge Rooms
Taylor Lodge offers 14 dorm-style Lodge Rooms that are conveniently located above the Dining Hall and Lounge. There is no elevator access to rooms on the second floor.

Forbrich Family Cabin
