HOUSING OPTIONS AT CEDAR BAY
We offer several different housing options at Cedar Bay. Our location is split into two main sections - Old Mill Point and Mariners' Cove. Each side of camp offers similar types of facilities, with subtle distinctions that make them unique to their side of camp.

TYPES OF HOUSING
Family Cabins
Old Mill Point offers 9 private Family Cabins, each with a picturesque view of Lake Huron or Prentiss Bay! Mariners’ Cove offers a private Family Cabin, known as Forbrich.
Features include:
- Private bathroom
- Fully furnished kitchen and living room with fireplace
- Refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker and microwave
- Towels, linens, and bedding provided
Guest Rooms
A Guest Room is a single private room with a private bathroom. Mariners’ Cove offers 10 Guest Rooms in total, divided amongst 3 cabins. Old Mill Point offers six Guest Rooms, located within two cabins. Guest Rooms share a common kitchen and living room with other guest rooms.
Features include:
- Single private room with private bathroom
- Shared fully-furnished kitchenette
- Shared living room with fireplace
- Refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker, and microwave
- Linens and towels are provided
Point Cabins
Old Mill Point offers 10 private, single-room cabins, which feature a queen bed, along with 3 bunk beds. For your convenience, a modern bathroom/shower house is located nearby.
Features include:
- Queen bed with bunk beds
- Modern bathrooms/shower house located nearby
- Refrigerator, and microwave
- Towels, linens, and bedding provided
Lodge Rooms
Both Mariners’ Cove and Old Mill Point offer dorm-style Lodge Rooms. Mariners' Cove has 14 rooms, located above the Taylor Lodge Dining Hall. Old Mill Point offers 10 rooms, located in Willoughby Lodge Dining Hall.
Features include:
- Queen bed with bunk beds
- Bathrooms/showers located down the hall
- Towels, linens, and bedding provided
Old Mill Point Housing
These options are available on the Old Mill Point side of Cedar Bay.
Willoughby Lodge Rooms
Above the dining hall and lounge, Willoughby Lodge offers 10 Lodge Rooms that accommodate 4–8 guests, each include a queen bed and bunk beds.
Linens, towels, and bedding are provided. Shared bathrooms and private showers are conveniently located just down the hall.
Please note: there is no elevator access to the second floor.
Harwood & Beach
Harwood and Beach Cabins each contain three Cabin Guest Rooms. Each room includes a private bathroom and sleeps up to 4 guests with a queen bed and bunk beds.
Guests share access to a furnished kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, range, coffee maker, and microwave, and a shared living room - ideal for small groups and family gatherings.
Spruceview
Spruceview is a Family Cabin that sleeps up to 9 guests across two bedrooms and a loft. It includes a queen bed, bunk beds, and twin beds.
This cabin includes a bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen and dining area, a comfortable living room with a woodstove, and a back porch with Adirondack chairs.
Shadynook
Shadynook is a large Family Cabin that can sleep up to 11 guests in three bedrooms - includes a queen bedroom, bunk beds (including a twin-over-full), and additional twin beds.
This cabin includes three bathrooms, a full kitchen and dining area, a large living room with a woodstove, and a back porch with Adirondack chairs.
Deck
Deck is a Family Cabin that sleeps up to 6 guests and features two bedrooms with a queen bed and bunk beds.
This cabin includes a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and dining area, a comfortable living space with a woodstove, and a back porch with Adirondack chairs.
Poplar Bend
Poplar Bend is a Family Cabin that sleeps up to 6 guests in two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds.
This cabin includes a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and dining area, a comfortable living space with a woodstove, and a front porch with Adirondack chairs.
Deer Trail
Deer Trail is a Family Cabin that sleeps up to 8 guests and offers two bedrooms with a loft bedroom - includes a queen bed and six twin beds.
This cabin includes a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable living space with a woodstove.
The Point Cabins
Our Point Cabins are 10 private single-room cabins that can each sleep up to 8 guests. All are identical in layout, and have a picturesque view of the outer bay.
Each cabin includes a queen bed and two bunk beds, along with a fridge, and a microwave. A modern washhouse with bathrooms and private showers is located nearby.
Bayview
Bayview is a comfortable Family Cabin that sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms - includes a queen bed and 4 twin beds.
The cabin features a bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable living space with a woodstove.
Birchview - North & South
Birchview North and South are matching Family Cabins that each sleep up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms and a loft - includes a queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a bunk bed.
Each cabin features a bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen, and a cozy living room.
Mariners Cove Housing
These options are available on the Mariners Cove side of Cedar Bay.
Gloria Taylor Cottage
Gloria Taylor Cottage features 4 Cabin Guest Rooms - each sleeps up to 6 guests and includes a queen bed, 2 bunk beds, and a private bathroom with a shower.
In the middle, guests enjoy a full kitchen, dining space, a large living area with a fireplace, and a back porch with Adirondack chairs.
Southwind
Southwind offers 2 Cabin Guest Rooms - each room sleeps up to 6 guests and includes a queen bed, bunk beds, and a private bathroom with a shower.
This cabin includes a comfortable shared living area with a fireplace, a convenient kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, a back porch with Adirondack chairs, and an outdoor fire pit for evening fellowship.
Four Anchors
Four Anchors offers 4 Cabin Guest Rooms - 3 of the rooms sleep up to 4 guests, and 1 room up to 6 guests. Each includes a queen bed, bunk beds, and a private bathroom with a shower.
Guests have access to a full kitchen, dining area, a large living space with a fireplace, and a back porch with Adirondack chairs.
Taylor Lodge Rooms
Located above the Dining Hall and Lounge, Taylor Lodge offers 14 dorm-style Lodge Rooms ideal for group lodging, each ranging from sleeping 2-8 guests. Each room is furnished with a queen bed and additional bunk beds, depending on the size of the room.
Community bathrooms with private showers are located down the hall. Linens, towels, and bedding are provided.
Please note: there is no elevator access to second-floor rooms.
Forbrich Family Cabin
Forbrich is a private Family Cabin that sleeps up to 6 guests and offers two bedrooms, including a Queen Bed and 2 Bunk Beds.
This cabin features a private bathroom with a shower, a fully furnished kitchen, and a living room with a fireplace. Guests may also enjoy a deck with Adirondack chairs, an outdoor fire pit, and a picturesque view of the bay!
