General Information About Family Camp

Most people come to family camp to unplug from their ordinary lives, add depth to family relationships and grow in their understanding of God's Word. Many come away feeling better equipped to live their lives together in a way that brings glory to the Lord.

Cedar Bay is a beautiful environment where a lot of fun is had every year. Most importantly, it is a Christian ministry. Our staff takes our ministry very seriously, and we hope this shows through our service, the maintenance of our facilities, and our Bible teaching times.

Just like our family campers are intentional about coming to camps each year, our staff is intentional about what we plan and how we serve.

Upon Your Arrival

At Cedar Bay, you will be welcomed by staff awaiting your arrival and receive your housing assignments at our main office. Our friendly staff is there to help you check in, answer any questions, and assist you in finding your housing. It is our aim to make you feel at home as quickly as possible!

Due to the uniqueness of having two different sides of camp, we have two different driveways. Each are marked with a well-lit sign. Old Mill Point is located at 1128 S Cedar Campus Rd, Cedarville, MI 49719. The entrance to Mariners Cove is located one mile east along M-134. Who attends family camp?

Each family camp is comprised of 10-25 families. Families come in all ages and sizes.

We love ministering to young families just starting their family camp tradition. We serve blended families that are looking to grow even closer. We enjoy serving empty nesters, who come to enjoy family camp with or without their children and grandchildren.

When it comes down to it, we are passionate about seeing families spend time together - to grow in their relationships together and with the Lord.

What's the "feel" of camp?

Cedar Bay is situated within the majestic shoreline of Lake Huron. In this natural environment, we have several trails and activity areas that allow our family campers to learn and have fun in God's perfect creation.

Our lodging options range from RV sites to our lodge rooms, depending on the preferences of our family campers. Our modern facilities ensure that campers are comfortable and well cared for by our well-trained, mission-driven staff. We work hard to ensure we provide the comforts of modern amenities, complemented by the natural beauty of the shoreline.

Family camp at Cedar Bay is casual and relaxed. We encourage families to be themselves, have fun, and create a lot of memories!
